A pair of silver and parcel gilt wine ewers made by Martin, Hall & Co, the classic form elaborately embossed in high relief, with two pairs of male and female winged figures, each bordering a cartouche, one engraved central leopard head amongst a stippled background, with floral and acanthus leaf scrolls, the lid with lever action opening to reveal a gilt interior, Hallmarked London, 1893.
